Co-Curricular Activities

Co-Curricular Activities receive special importance as these play a significant role in bringing out the overall development of students. Every facility is provided to students to enhance their participation in indoor or outdoor sports and games. College colours are awarded to the outstanding players every year. Besides sports and games, the college has following others activities.

The college organizes various co-curricular activities for the students as:-

  • Blood Donation Camps are organized once in a year.
  • Annual Picnic / Educational tours are conducted usually in winter breaks.
  • Inter college sports activities are performed from time to time.
  • Inter College Quiz / Debates etc activities are conducted from time to time.


Besides this college believes in the overall development of the child physically and mentally. College tries to develop the overall personality of the child by organizing workshops on communication skills, group discussions and mock interviews so that a student should be capable of facing the competitions.

College hold meditation course both for teachers and students to make them mentally strong and free from stress.

NATIONAL SERVICE SCHEME (NSS)

NSS aims at developing the personality of volunteers through community service and acquaint them to situation that provide a closer look at human, social and environmental problems.

The N.S.S. has brought under its umbrella the area of social cooperation which students experience by joining the organization. It generates the spirit of social awareness among students and orients them to work selflessly for the cause of the society. N.S.S. volunteers carry out their work in rural areas with the prime motive of uplifting the life-standards of the downtrodden masses of the society. The N.S.S. volunteers work under the guidance of senior teachers of the college. They are required to extend 120 hrs. of social service per year besides participation in two camps organized by the N.S.S. unit of the college. Students are given certificates by University of Jammu for rendering service in the field.

The activities include:

  • Improvement of campus.
  • Work in welfar instructions.
  • Blood Donation.
  • Adult and non-formal education.
  • Health,nutrition,family welfare, AIDS awareness campaigns.
  • Tree plantation.
  • Constructive work in adopted villages and slums.
